For Today: January 16, 2010

Outside my window: Darkness and stars - quiet and peace

I am thinking: that I need to get busy crafting

I am thankful for: another day off from work

From the kitchen: sweet ice tea

I am wearing: pink tee shirt and capris (and flipflops!)

I am creating: a birth sampler for Kattie

I am going: to watch Gran Tornino after posting

I am reading: Patrick Swayze's autobiography

I am hoping: to get in the mood to craft

I am hearing: my mom talk to me about her day.

Around the House: everything is clean but the kitchen. Dishes soaking in the sink and
fridge in the middle of the kitchen. New one coming tomorrow.

My favorite things: hugs from my kids

Plans for the week: school work and office work. Crafting if I have time

Picture journal:

Kattie (3) playing at the park with Grandpa and the other kids! Her hair looked so funny in this picture.

Til nex time,

Susan

GREAT GIVEAWAY FROM ONE SIMPLE COUNTRY GIRL

Okay! I was over at One Simple Country Girl who is having a wonderful giveaway.
She wants you to leave her a comment and post her giveaway to your blog.
Sound easy right?!
Well, I have tried unsuccessfully to create a link to her page and have instead become quite frustrated. So I have given up trying to post with the picture she has
(which is quite cute by the way!)
And I am going to tell you to just find her blog, head to her page and enter her contest!
Sorry, I'm not much help but you just have to go there and see her cute giveaway.
Her blog is great too! I took one look and became a follower.
Now if only as a newbie to blogging, I could figure out how to link to other blogs!
Oh well, it was fun for the experience even if I don't win!

New Year

Well, I have once again been slacking in the blog department - but I have a good excuse right? Christmas, New Years, recovering from Christmas, and New Years.

(Note the rolls of wrapping paper beside the wrapped presents

- yes "Santa" did remove them before Christmas morning)

Okay, maybe not the best excuses but when you see the faces on my babies maybe you will forgive me.

They were so excited and couldn't wait to see what Santa would bring them.

Needless to say they were thrilled with their presents and have played nonstop since Christmas Day. These pictures will be posted in a later blog because tonight after cleaning the whole house, getting the kids ready to go back to school tomorrow, and getting myself ready for work tomorrow - this chick has had it for the day. More pictures and news to follow as we get back into a comfortable routine for my seven.

With blessings,

Susan
